After a lifelong struggle with her weight and after being diagnosed as pre-diabetic in 2016, Margeaux began a mind, body, spirit journey at the start of 2017 to heal herself and to make permanent changes. Finding the practice of yoga and the community behind it has been life changing for her. During the last two years Margeaux has released 120 pounds of physical and emotional baggage and has developed an entirely new relationship with herself and her body. This journey prompted her to launch the lifestyle blog called This Curvy World where she has created a space that promotes self-love, acceptance and body positivity. On her blog, she has created a unique space and has built a community where she and others share inspirational things that reflect many of her passions: beauty, style, and wellness for people of all sizes. In addition to her blog, Margeaux has been inspiring others through public speaking and by posting on social media by encouraging people to live their best lives now. Margeaux has also recently completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Sacred Studio.
Janee Markowicz was born and raised in Brooklyn. Her love of fitness and movement first came in the form of dance. At the age of four, she began studying ballet and modern dance and continued practicing these art forms well into her twenties. After taking some time off to attend George Washington School of Law, in Washington, D.C. and Istituto Marangoni School of Fashion, in London, Janee moved back to Brooklyn and felt the desire to start moving again. From Soul Cycle, to Barry's Boot Camp, to Bikram Yoga, Janee has tried a variety of workouts. After having a baby in 2017, Janee needed to find a way to rebuild her core and turned to Pilates and Vinyasa. Given the significant results that she achieved in the relatively short amount of time that she has committed herself to her workouts after having given birth, Janee has been a devoted practitioner of both of these workouts.
