Pilin Anice is a dance and yoga instructor, performing artist, and model. Pilin is passionate about helping others tune into their highest self by improving their health and wellbeing. From universities to community organizations, she has guided students of all ages in the sacred movements of yoga and dance through a range of workshops and classes. She has been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, BET/CentricTV, and YogaXpress. Pilin earned her 200 Hour RYT at Reflections Yoga in Guatemala and is certified in holistic nutrition as well as Thai Massage Therapy. For over 14 years, she has studied with masters of West African dance, Duhnam Technique, and African Diasporic dances of Haiti, Cuba, and Brazil. Her passion for yoga and dance led her to become a certified Afro Flow Yoga instructor, which she has taught in the US and abroad.
Native New Yorker Damien Alexander was Introduced to yoga by a family member, this awakening has now become a lifestyle. Trained by Adrian Molin in Warrior Flow, Damien has been teaching for 5 years and has continued his education at PURE Yoga and Laughing Lotus. Damien currently teaches at Equinox where his classes focus on alignment within the postures and a continual connection to the breath through movement.
Lia Bartha is a former dancer turned Pilates guru teaching both in Los Angeles and New York since 2009. She started dancing Ballet at the age of 3 and continued throughout college where she found Pilates on accident through an extra credit course. It was love at first neutral pelvis discovery.
She currently teaches her private clients in Brooklyn Heights as well as a weekly waitlisted mat Pilates class in New York City. Lia has created her own method of mat work by using a small stability ball to intensify the lengthening and strengthening components of her exercises. The hour long seamless class she has created will leave you feeling a deep, inner full body strength and lifted sense of self with a serious day after burn. In the best way possible.
Marc Mueller aka Street Mule
Marc Mueller is a New York City-based multi-instrumentalist: focusing on world percussion, drum set, didgeridoo, found object musical fabrication and sonic collage experimentation. He has been a professional musician, performing for over 30 years. He is currently performing solo as StreetMule and with the highly acclaimed percussive group Mecca Bodega. Prior to StreetMule and Mecca Bodega, Marc was signed to Capitol Records with iconic cult band Fetchin’ Bones, where he toured with artists like REM, Soul Coughing, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Marc and Mecca Bodega have been heard throughout the subway system as part of the Music Under New York (MUNY) performing arts program for 20 years. Marc is recognized as a studio session player in New York City and performs an average of 170 shows yearly.
